Exploring Bangkok is a job never done. You just might find yourself going on a shopping spree and end up lost in a totally different part of town. Whether getting lost is intentional or not, you'll be amazed at most of the things you'll see. One of the best ways of getting lost and enjoying it, is hopping on one of those dirt t cheap river taxis through Thonburi's canals and letting that noisy-neon-concrete vortex swallow you. It's not until you reach a place like Wat Arun, you realize the contrast of all the noise and neon on one side and the serenity that once dwelled between those magnificent ancient temple walls on the other- that is when you subtract all the tourists crawling around. While some are enjoying one of those perfect sunsets on Koh Tao, others enjoying happy hours in a bar in Chiang Mai, third ones being shocked at all the neon lightening up Soi Cowboy, you'll find yourself on this perfect spot in the temple stairs, enjoying in silence all those tones in the sky. Untouched by all the hustle'n'bustle around, while the sun is slowly disappearing, making place for all the neon to take over. It's moments like this why the job can never be done.
